Swedish Fashion Association is an independent organisation created by and for the Swedish fashion industry with the purpose of bringing together, support, promote and grow Swedish fashion in Sweden and abroad. With an agenda that includes hands on advice and support as well as events and activities like international fashion weeks and -conferences Swedish Fashion Association aims to encourage and develop entrepreneurship and innovation within the Swedish fashion industry. Swedish Fashion Association was created in 2009 by fashion brands Acne Studios, Cheap Monday, Filippa K, Hope, Tiger of Sweden and Whyred, together with the fashion magazine Bon and communications agency Patriksson Group.
