The East Asia Super League (Simplified Chinese: 东亚超级联赛; Traditional Chinese: 東亞超級聯賽), abbreviated as EASL, is the champions league of professional basketball in East Asia. It is Where Champions Clash and the top teams across the region match up to determine the best of the best. The qualifying EASL participants are the champions and runners-up from the top basketball leagues in Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea and the Philippines. Each season features a 24-game Group Stage held October to February, with six games (three home, three away) for each of the eight teams. The four winningest teams in the Group Stage qualify for the Final Four weekend in March, which crowns the champion of East Asia. EASL is organized under an exclusive agreement with FIBA, the international basketball federation.
