Ankara Development Agency is the regional development agency of Ankara, the capital of Turkey. Ankara Development Agency is a public institution and was established to mobilize the potential of Ankara, and started its operations as of July 9, 2010, when the Secretary General was assigned. Ankara Development Agency aims to accelerate regional development, maintain sustainability and mitigate inter/intra-regional differences of development in line with the national development plan and principles and policies stipulated in the national programmes. In order to reach this target, the Agency aims at improving collaboration between the public sector, private sector, local administrations, universities and civil society organisations, ensuring efficient use of resources and mobilizing the local potential.
