ABH Optics has developed a novel type of eyeglass lens using cutting-edge nanotechnology, originating from DTU Health Techs projects. With an exclusive IP license from DTU and based on extensive previous research funding from DTU, the Innovation Fund Denmark, and the EU, the company is poised to disrupt the traditional lens manufacturing process, which has remained largely unchanged for centuries. The companys proprietary technology allows for easy customization of lenses, addressing both optical power and structural defects. The result is a product line of ultra-thin, lightweight, and environmentally friendly lenses that reduce plastic usage.
